Movement you can measure
Your first visit includes VALD HumanTrak where it is useful — a 3D motion-capture system used in professional sport and university research.
Instead of describing how your shoulder or hip moves, it records it: range through each joint, how well you control it, and how your left compares to your right. Those numbers get saved, so when we re-test in a few weeks you can see what changed rather than rely on how the day happens to feel.
It is not an extra you pay for. It is part of how we assess.
ACC, made simple
No GP referral needed. If your problem came from an injury — at work, at the gym, on the field, in the garden or in a car — you can book straight in.
We can lodge an appropriate ACC claim for you at your first appointment. If ACC accepts it, you pay only the surcharge shown above and ACC covers the rest.
Not sure whether it counts as an injury? Call or text us and we will tell you honestly.
What your first visit actually involves
- We listen first. What happened, how it behaves, what you have already tried, and what you actually want to get back to.
- Then we assess. Spinal and neurological screening, orthopaedic testing where indicated, range of motion, posture and movement — and a check for anything that belongs with another practitioner.
- You get treated where it is appropriate. Not every first visit ends in hands-on care, but most do.
- You leave knowing what is going on — in plain language, with a plan sized to your problem rather than a standard package.
Findings and recommendations are individual. We will tell you if we do not think we are the right people for it.
Prices are in New Zealand dollars and current as at August 2026. ACC surcharges apply to accepted claims only. Payment is taken at the time of your appointment. Please give us as much notice as you can if you need to change or cancel, so the time can go to someone else.
